Program Awards
The EEP program partners with the CDC Foundation to grant stipend awards each year to EEP graduates (medical or veterinary students, residents, physicians, veterinarians) who are ready to take the next steps on their journey to becoming leaders in the fields of public health, global health, and/or One Health and are interested in applying to the Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) in the near future. Selected applicants receive a stipend to support travel and hotel expenses to attend the next EIS conference.
The award application period usually opens in the fall of each year. EEP graduates who completed the program in the past five years are eligible to apply to both awards. For 2023, EEP graduates who completed the program during 2018-2022 were eligible.
