Identification: 53,095 employees were eligible to participate in the online health risk assessment (HRA) in both 2008 and 2009; 13,222 of them participated in 2008; 6,205 of the 2008 participants also participated in 2009. Screening: Among the 6,205 repeated HRA participants, 2,784 were eligible for breast cancer screening, 3,889 were eligible for cervical cancer screening, and 2,549 were eligible for colorectal cancer screening in 2008. Eligibility: Among the screening-eligible HRA participants in 2008, 2,574 were adherent in breast cancer screening in 2008, 3,569 were adherent to cervical cancer screening in 2008, and 1,854 of them were adherent to colorectal cancer screening in 2008. Included: 210 eligible but nonadherent to breast cancer screening in 2008, 320 eligible but nonadherent to cervical cancer screening in 2008, and 695 eligible but nonadherent to colorectal cancer screening in 2008 were included in the final sample.

Figure. Flow chart depicting inclusion process of participants who completed health risk assessments (HRAs) and their cancer screening adherence behaviors, Kansas, 2008 and 2009.
