This artwork was created by Leisha Miller of the Division of Creative Services for the 20th National Conference on Chronic Disease Prevention and Control. The theme of the conference is ?/font>Cultivating Healthy Communities,?/font> which was the inspiration for her design. Leisha looked for imagery that represented growth, and because her client preferred abstract imagery, she chose that style for her illustration. The inspiration for the colors came from the beautiful greens and lemon colors at her new office in Chamblee Building 106. She scanned leaves in the background and converted them to artwork using Photoshop software. Leisha also drew by hand, using Illustrator software, some of the reversed-out limbs in the foreground.
