        CDC Disease Detectives come together in Atlanta

        Annual conference recognizes 50 years of disease investigations

        Current and former disease detectives from the last 50 years, including CDC director Dr. Jeffrey P. Koplan

        Annual conference of the Epidemic Intelligence Service, including scientific presentations by EIS officers on their recent outbreak investigations, first-ever alumni weekend, and recognition of 50 years of disease investigations.
