Analysis of New HIV Incidence Data Offers In-Depth Look at Populations Most At-Risk in the United States

What:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will release the results of a new HIV incidence analysis that show a€“by race, gender and route of transmissiona€“which population groups are most impacted by new infections. The data, which offers the most in-depth look at populations most affected, were derived from CDCa€?s HIV incidence surveillance system and will be published September 12th in CDCa€?s Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report.
CDC will provide details on the impact of the epidemic among African-Americans by age breakdown and genders, and gay and bisexual men of all races and age groups.
